When you look at the series "Possible Landscapes" by the German photo-artist Torsten Richter, it feels like your well-trained perception got outsmarted. But you cannot describe it precisely. The images give an impression of what nature and scenery could have become without the destructive human influence. Nothing was added or deleted here, nothing is constructed. It´s just like using the camera the way an instrument was played in a jazz improvisation rather than a rock song. One scenery, six exposures, one frame.
