REAL PEOPLE, the exhibition-tribute to Bruce Gilden, will be open from Sunday 3 to Sunday 24 October 2021, at the “Umberto Mastroianni” Gallery, in the complex of the Musei di San Salvatore in Lauro, in the heart of Rome (Piazza di San Salvatore in Lauro, 15).

The exhibition is taken from the REAL PEOPLE collective photographic volume conceived as a special prize within URBAN Photo Awards. The famous American photographer Bruce Gilden, as president of the jury of the 2021 edition of the contest, has personally selected the projects published in the volume in his honor.
A “best of” photo by Gilden himself will be exhibited in Rome together with the best of the ten projects he selected, with photos by Carlo Traini, Fabrizio Spucches, Forrest Walker, Giedo van der Zwan, Maria Pansini, Maurizio Leonardi, Paula Kajzar, Simon Johansson, Stanley Robben, Ximena Hinzpeter.
URBAN Photo Awards is a photo contest that sees every year thousand of partecipating pictures and hundreds of participants from all over the world. It is an always growing international photography competition, one of the very few that goes “over the boundaries” of Internet offering to photographers real visibility through dozens of international photo exhibitions. Only in 2018 URBAN realized 47 exhibitions displaying about 950 pictures. URBAN's exhibitions culminate during Trieste Photo Days festival, which hosts the awards ceremony, the winners' collective exhibition of winners and several exhibits of the best ranked photos.
