Amadeus Ungethuem is living beneath the hills, by the rivers, sometimes in Vienna, mostly in Prague… taking pictures just came as looking around trying to see the reality behind surrealities.

Maybe in bodies of living humans, maybe in sculptures of dead long ago, maybe in mannequins of fashion. First, he takes a photo, then he tries to see what’s hidden in the subject/object.

He never got trained in photo-shooting: and it is this, what saves him from getting mainstream, he thinks, and actually, that’s good!
