A series of painterly portraits with an Old World Style. From the Italian Renaissance through to post Second World War – Jack Savage attempt to take his subjects back in time. By this he mean attempting to create in pictures, a small part of what Rembrandt and Caravaggio did so well in their masterful paintings.
