The Leica Galerie Düsseldorf is showing works by the German photographer Franziska Stünkel in the exhibition "Coexist". For over twelve years, the internationally awarded film director and photo artist has travelled with her Leica camera through Asia, Africa, Europe and America in search of natural reflections on shop window glass, which in their condensation tell of the coexistence of human life. Charged to the highest complexity, her photographs are the visualisation of the commonalities and contrasts that exist in our diversely networked world. The artist completely dispenses with digital post-processing of her photographs. The result is a multi-layered view of the highly topical question of coexistence in our present. The exhibition at the Leica Galerie Düsseldorf presents photographs from the entire twelve-year work cycle "Coexist".
